Yulong is going through an exciting period of growth and with the addition of a new horse truck, we are now seeking another experienced truck driver.
The role is full time working Monday to Friday and rotating weekends. Some overtime will be required through the busy breeding season. On days where movements are not required you will be required to assist with general stud duties.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Transporting horses in a safe and timely manner between farms and vet clinics,
- Accurately maintain the truck logbook,
- Ensure the truck is always well maintained and clean,
- Report incidents or defects,
- Assist with general stud duties.
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Prior experience as a horse truck driver,
- No driving violations and sound knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations,
- Valid truck driving licence,
- Experience handling horses of all ages and genders,
- Reliable and hardworking,
- Well-presented and a clear communicator.
Candidates will be offered a remuneration package in accordance with experience.
