Yulong is delighted to announce the acquisition of unbeaten Gr.1 Sires’ Produce winner Vinrock, with the Matt Laurie-trained colt set to race in the bottle green and white silks this coming spring.
Bred and sold by Rosemont at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Vinrock is out of a Gr.2-winning daughter of breed shaper Redoute’s Choice, and the only colt by Champion sire I Am Invincible to win an Australian Gr.1 at two. He is also the first horse since Full On Aces in 1981 to complete the VRC-ATC Sires double, pushing his current earnings to just short of a million following three unbeaten starts.
Yulong’s partnership with trainer Matt Laurie has been nothing short of exceptional; with Matt, Kate and his team successfully campaigning homebred star Treasurethe Moment to three standout wins in the Yulong green this season.
