Lucky Vega’s I’m Lucky Two makes it two

If a name is an omen, then Michael Nolan-trained two-year-old gelding I’m Lucky Two (Lucky Vega (IRE)) lived up to his on Monday at Toowoomba when winning his second race in succession. From the first crop of Lucky Vega, he is one of six Southern Hemisphere winners for his sire this season.

Winner of two of his three starts, I’m Lucky Two is the first foal of winning mare Sapeiro (NZ) (Shocking).

Lucky Vega stands at Yulong at a fee of $38,500 inc GST in 2025.
