Third time Lucky for Echo Of Faith

Yulong shuttler Lucky Vega (IRE) chalked up his 17th individual winner on Tuesday when Echo Of Faith (IRE) scored in a seven-and-a-half-furlong maiden at Roscommon. Ridden by Shane Foley for Jessica Harrington, the juvenile gelding was making it third time lucky as he beat Spinning Around (IRE) (Australia {GB}) by three-quarters of a length with the same distance further back to Idiocracy (IRE) (Starspangledbanner) in third.

Bred by T Darcy and V McCarthy, Echo Of Faith was purchased by Yulong for €55,000 at the 2023 Goffs November Foal Sale. The fourth foal out of the winning Lawman (FR) (Invincible Spirit {IRE}) mare Oh Grace (IRE), he is a half-brother to Listed winner Sakti (IRE) (Caravaggio {USA}).

Lucky Vega has returned to Yulong for 2025 at a fee of $38,500 (inc GST).
