Yulong is seeking a reliable and skilled Lawn Irrigation Specialist to join our Grounds and Maintenance Team. Based near Nagambie, Victoria, this hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing our automatic lawn sprinkler systems to ensure our landscaped areas remain in excellent condition year-round.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and monitor the operation of the garden irrigation systems farm wide.
- Implement irrigation schedules as directed including accurate recording.
- Monitor irrigators throughout operation, identifying and reporting any issues or breakdowns.
- Shut down systems safely and correctly at the end of each cycle.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on automatic lawn sprinkler systems.
- Operate and program Hunter irrigation products, including the ACC2 decoder control system, i20, PGP, and PRS sprinklers.
- Identify and replace malfunctioning sprinklers.
- Locate and repair leaks within the irrigation system.
- Service and repair solenoids.
- Assist with general gardening and grounds maintenance tasks as part of the wider team.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and tools.
To be successful, you must demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience with Hunter irrigation systems, particularly the ACC2 decoder controller.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist with general gardening when required.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transportation are essential.
