Dual Gr.1 winner Quintessa (NZ) is by Shamus Award out of the High Chaparral (IRE) mare, Chaquinta (NZ).
Racing in the tangerine colours of Te Akau Racing, Quintessa contested 19 Group races across New Zealand and Australia and was a Group winner at three, four and five. Her career highlights include victory in the Gr.1 Levin Classic at three and the Gr.1 Proisir Plate at five.
Quintessa was purchased for $800,000 at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale.
