Champion filly Startantes is by Star Turn out of multiple Gr.2 Champagne Classic winner Futantes, a half-sister to multiple Stakes-winner Excellantes.
Trained by Robert Heathcote in Queensland, Startantes showed her speed and talent early, winning twice as a two-year-old. From three onwards, she contested 16 Stakes races, highlighted by her victory in the Gr.1 Tattersall’s Tiara, where she defeated elite race mares and fellow Yulong mares Snapdancer, Atishu and Away Game.
Startantes was purchased for $1.4 million at the 2026 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale.
