Yulong-owned three-year-old filly Quick Finish (Grunt {NZ}), who is out of Gentle Strokes (Golden Horn {GB}), won her maiden at Ballarat on Tuesday with an impressive two length victory for trainers Tony and Calvin McEvoy.
She is the first winner, and second foal, for unraced Gentle Strokes, who is a half-sister to Gr.3 BJ McLachlan Stakes-placed Poster Girl (Alabama Express) and Listed-placed Sketched (Snitzel).
