Yulong Investments is a leading Victorian Thoroughbred Stud situated in the Nagambie area. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Full Time Farm Hand to join our team.
The successful applicant will be dependable and self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic and have previous experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tractor and machinery work.
- Assisting with fencing.
- Spraying and land preparation.
- General farm and garden duties.
- Assist with care and management of livestock.
- Routine maintenance of farming equipment and machinery.
- Assisting with irrigation and water systems.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety and equal employment opportunity initiatives to contribute to a safe, healthy, equitable and ethical workplace.
- Work in accordance with management directions.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience driving heavy machinery.
- Use of GPS Equipment (preferred but not essential).
- Cattle experience (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of Irrigation.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Attention to detail when completing tasks.
- A passion for agriculture and a good attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Full driver’s license.
- Full working rights in Australia.
