Yulong Stud is seeking a highly motivated, reliable and experienced Track Work Rider for our new Pre-Training facility.
Based in Seymour, Victoria, the successful applicant will be responsible for Yulong-owned pre trainers, so it is essential to have track work experience riding younger thoroughbred horses and be confident in riding gallops and pace work.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Riding and educating young thoroughbreds through their early stages of race development.
- Working closely with trainers, vets, and other team members to ensure horses are progressing.
- All aspects of horse husbandry.
To be successful, you must demonstrate:
- At least 1 years’ experience as a Track Work Rider
- Strong riding ability and excellent horsemanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current drivers licence (a M.R Licence would be highly regarded).
- Current Track Work Licence.
