Tycoon Star is by resident Champion Two-Year-Old Sire Written Tycoon, out of the Group-placed Equiano (FR) mare Miss Iano. The bay colt was purchased as a weanling at the Magic Millions National Sale before being reoffered through Yulong’s yearling consignment at the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale. Sold for $400,000 to Lindsay Park, Yulong retained a share in the ownership, with the colt duly repaying the farms faith in him when taking the Gr.3 Maribyrnong Plate on debut at Flemington.
