Lucky Vega continues his winning momentum across the continent

Yulong sire Lucky Vega (IRE) added his fourth first crop Southern Hemisphere winner when Miss Lyra won at Hobart on Sunday. Fourth on debut a fortnight ago, Miss Lyra is trained by Adam Trinder. Miss Lyra was sold by Yulong for $40,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale to Prime Thoroughbreds, and she is the second winner for stakes placed Pageantry (I Am Invincible).

Following a fantastic weekend, the week kicked off in style with another exciting juvenile victory for the son of Lope de Vega. I’m Lucky Too broke his maiden in just his second start when winning impressively at Toowoomba for Trainer Michael Nolan. He is homebred by J.K. Hurley.
