Erato is by Street Cry (IRE) and out of the dual Gr.1-winning Encosta de Lago mare, Mnemosyne. Erato is also a half-sister to dual Gr.1 winner and sire Impending. Sent to Lonhro in her second season at stud, she produced Gr.1 winner Lyre, who claimed the Blue Diamond Stakes in 2019. Erato was purchased at the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
