By Champion sire I Am Invincible, Imperatriz was an outstanding racemare, winning 10 Group 1s for Te Akau Racing. A Champion in her native Australia, Imperatriz was rated the World’s Best Sprinter and World’s Best Mare in an astonishing career that saw her seal back-to-back wins in the Gr.1 William Reid as well as breaking the 1000m track record in the Gr.1 Moir Stakes. She was purchased at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2024 and joins her dam Berimbau in the Yulong broodmare band.
