Melody Belle (NZ)

Melody Belle (NZ) (Commands) is out of the Iffraaj mare, Meleka Belle, a half-sister to Gr.2-placed Desert Rain and Gr.1-placed Tsarina Belle (NZ).  Melody Belle was crowned Champion two-year-old in 2017, Horse of the Year and Champion Sprinter in both 2019 and 2020, and also won the Champion Middle Distance Horse in 2020. In 41-career starts, she won 14 Gr.1 races and accumulated AUD$4,042,557 in earnings. Melody Belle was purchased at the Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale in 2021 for $2,600,000. In 2023, she was also inducted into the New Zealand Hall of Fame.
