An exceptional race mare, Tofane (NZ) (Ocean Park {NZ}) out of blue hen mare Baggy Green, she is a half-sister to Gr.1 Metropolitan Hcp winner No Compromise and Gr.3 winner and Gr.1 Australian Derby placegetter Benaud. She is from the family of Gr.1 winners Funstar and Youngstar. She has amassed $3.69m in earnings, winning eight races, four of which were at Gr.1 level: the All Aged Stakes (1400m), the Stradbroke Hcp (1400m), the Tattersall’s Tiara (1400m), the Orr Stakes (1400m), whilst two were at Gr.3 level: the Bass Strait Beef Steaks (1200m) and the Furphy Sprint (1100m).
