Pierata adds juvenile winner

In the first at Belmont on Wednesday, two-year-old gelding Properata (Pierata) won his maiden at start number five for trainers Daniel and Ben Pearce. Pearce Racing paid $230,000 for him from Gold Front’s Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale draft.

He is a full brother to stakes placed three-year-old filly Perfectly Proper. Their dam, Prim And Proper (Alfred Noble {IRE}) won the Listed Supremacy Stakes as a three-year-old.
