Magical Lagoon (IRE) is by the brilliant Galileo (IRE), and was purchased by Yulong at the 2020 Tattersalls October Book 1 Yearling Sale for 305,000gns. Trained in Ireland by Jessica Harrington, she was a high-class juvenile, winning the Gr.3 Flame Of Tara Stakes on her second start. As a three-year-old she claimed the Gr.2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot before securing her first Gr.1 in the Irish Oaks. She has since been transferred to Chris Waller’s Sydney stable, and we look forward to her campaigning in Australia before she joins the broodmare band.
