2020 gelding by Grunt (NZ) ex Isleham (USA)
Yulong-bred and -owned Isleham Village is by foundation sire Grunt and originally sold at the 2022 Inglis Ready To Race Sale. Exported to Singapore where he raced as Last Supper, “Bugsy” was a three-time winner for trainer James Peters.
Repurchased by Yulong following his second start, “Bugsy” returned to Australia in 2025 and made one final start in South Australia under the new name Isleham Village.
He retired in November that year and after a few months at Yulong’s spelling property, is now thriving in off-the-track pursuits, winning his first competition and showing all the right qualities to be a successful event horse.
