Yulong Stud, located near Nagambie, Victoria, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Farm Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the care and management of all day-to-day farm and garden operations.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Pasture management.
- Irrigation management.
- Farm developments.
- Vehicle maintenance.
- Project management.
- Assisting with cattle management.
- Ensuring all areas of the farms are kept to a high standard.
- Reporting to the owner on farm progress.
- Purchasing items as required.
- Overseeing all staff on the farm and gardening crew.
- Overseeing all WHS procedures and requirement are to industry standard.
To be successful, you must demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience of all duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability to maintain equipment to a high standard.
- Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience in Horticulture or Agriculture.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to manage projects and drive results.
- Clear and developed communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- A current driver’s license.
