Gregers is by the sire Commands, out of the Canny Lad mare, Satnav, who is a sister to Yes She Can Cancan, the dam of Yulong Prince’s sire, Gimmethegreenlight. Gregers is also a half-sister to Group 3 winner Girl Guide. A $130,000 purchase for Lindsay Park Racing, Gregers enjoyed an impressive race career that stretched across four seasons. An early running two-year-old, Gregers won her maiden in the MVRC Sportingbet Two-Year-Old Plate (1000m) and then ran fourth in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m). In her three-year-old filly season, Gregers would claim victory in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m), run second in the Group 2 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic (1600m), run third placings in both the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) and the Group 1 Robert Sangster Classic. Her three-year-old season also saw her run fourth in three Group 1s which included the Oakleigh Plate (1100m), the William Reid Stakes (1200m) and the Goodwood Handicap (1200m).
